One of the funniest women who ever lived on the face of this or any planet, Ellen Degeneres, is 54 today!! She looks great!! Seriously, talk about aging gracefully. Ellen has built quite an empire from her humble beginnings as a comedian through her coming out publicly and her marriage to the beautiful Portia de Rossi and her hugely successful daytime talk show. What an inspiration!! Anyway, here is a cute little bit of stand up from one of her specials that lets her audience know why they are there. Funny stuff.
