Gorgeous video to fit the beautiful song. Stevie Nicks is showing 'em all how it's done. Her album In Your Dreams has spawned a lovely, deep ballad and an even more stunning video for the song For What It's Worth. Listen to these lyrics!! Classic Stevie. She is looking great at 63. And yes, that Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics in the video with her. He is featured heavily on the album. Watch and love.

NEW GAGA VIDEO: YOU AND I
Here she is, back in outrageous form! After the toned down version of Gaga in the Edge of Glory video, we have the mistress of mayhem back for the outlandish adventure in Nebraska that is You and I. There's so much to take in that I had to view it three times to get everything that was going on. Now I am obsessed!!! Creepy, beautiful, sensual, sexy; the video is part Little Mermaid, part Brid of Frankenstein and ALL Gaga. Enjoy the video for the countrified rock of You and I. I am going to declare it among her best.

NEW NICOLA ROBERTS VIDEO: LUCKY DAY
I'm not quite as in love with this as I was with Beat of My Drum, but it's pretty darn good. Nicola Roberts from Girls Aloud has released her official second single, Lucky Day, and its accompanying video. Cutsie-bootsy!! Love that her dress is about to show her cooch throughout the entire video. Hope it was warm the day of filming. Beyotch is getting me excited for her debut album, Cinderella's Eyes, which is to be released in the UK sometime in the fall. Can't wait to hear what else she has in store for us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MADONNA!!!!
Another year, another gay holiday. Madonna, the Queen of the Universe, is 53 today. My how time flies. Madonna made me gay, you know. I can't remember being as obsessed with anything in my life as I have been with my life-long girlfriend, Madonna. She has brought joy to not only me but millions upon millions of people all over the world and is continuing to do so. Will she be a part of my wedding? Duh!!!!! I'm not saying how though. Stay tuned....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY: DEAD OR ALIVE'S PETE BURNS STILL LIKE A RECORD...
...but in plastic surgery hell. Pete is turning 52 today, and despite his bizarre appearance, his voice is still as strong as ever. Back in 1984 Dead or Alive released their giant hit You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) and it hasn't gone away since. The song is definitely one of the biggest, most recognizable hits of that decade; however, Pete has become unrecognizable. His appearance was always a bit of a shock, but since Dead or Alive hit the States after Boy George and Culture Club, his androgyny was a little out of this world. Maybe he is super-happy with most of what he's done to his face (although he has gone public with his dissatisfaction with his lips), so who am I to judge. Dead or Alive did have a few more hits on the charts, including other classics like Come Home With Me Baby, Brand New Lover (my personal fave) and Lover Come Back to Me, but the band's signature hit is still You Spin Me Round. The song hit the UK charts again in 1996, 2003 AND 2006. Hey, why fight it? Regardless, here are some of the hot hits that the 80s band put out that burned up the charts on both sides of the Atlantic. Just a little nostalgia for ya today. Happy birthday, Pete.

FLASHBACK: DOLLY PARTON - SWEET SUMMER LOVIN'
In my opinion, this is the sweetest of summer songs. From Dolly Parton's album Great Balls of Fire, Sweet Summer Lovin' was a breeze coming through the radio that landed at #7 on the country charts in the fall of 1979. Now I grew up in Texas, so we had the radio on country sometimes, y'all! I love me some Dolly anyway. The song is pretty, sweet and simple, just like me. Maybe that's why I like it. Wait. What? Anyway, enjoy some Dolly on this sweet summer day.
